THE PROJECT IS 100% MOBILE AND IS A COLLECTION OF 365 IMAGES THAT DOCUMENT THE DETAILS OF THE YEAR.
With varying subjects, colors, textures, themes, and ideas introduced over the course of one year a design hierarchy was established. An intentioned visual voice of black, white, gray, and red serve as the datum upon which the project was built. This hierarchy establishes both a styled visual continuity and allows for the viewer to acclimatize to the layers of each image from date, to month, year, to subject.
Typography is a driving asset in the project with each date receiving a similar textual treatment and color approach. Helvetica Neue Bold and Helvetica Neue Condensed Bold were the typographic elements of choice because of their simplicity and unobtrusiveness when introduced atop of the varied array of photographic elements.
